  • Sasser Patch for Windows XP SP1 - This worm may cause "lsass.exe" to stop responding, which forces the operating system to shut down after 60 seconds. An unprotected computer can contract it in as litttle as 5 minutes. If you are using Windows XP SP 2, you do not need this patch as SP 2 has the fix included. This file does not remove the worm only fixes Windows so that the worm can not function, you will need to run your own virus scan to remove it. Simply download to your desktop and double click on the icon, the installer takes care of the rest.
  • Sasser Patch for Windows 2000 SP 2/3/4 - This is the Sasser patch for Windows 2000 users.
  • Windows XP Service Pack 2 - This is service pack 2 for Windows XP, includes Windows Firewall. This is a 266MB download and will take over 10 hours for dial-up users.
  • Windows XP Service Pack 3 - This a 316MB download and will take over 12 hours for dial-up users.
  • Sun Microsystems Java - Java is a programming language that many websites and applications use and require.
  • Adobe Reader - This program is used to open and read ".pdf" files.
  • Open Office - Open Office is a free open source program that is compatible with many different document, database, presentation and spreadsheet file types.
  • WinZip - (Costs) An archiving program used to open and create .zip files.
  • WinACE - (Costs) An arching program with support for ".zip", ".rar", and many other archive types.
  • WinRAR - (Costs) An archiving program that is popular with many people, supports many different archiving types.
  • 7-Zip - 7-Zip is a free open source archiving program that supports ".zip", ".gzip", ".tar", ".cab", ".iso", and many other archiving types.
